So here we are guys, arrived to our final hours in Bali. Unbelievable, how fast these 19 days were bygone. But there is still one accommodation to mention. Our last one during this trip, and this has the most to offer. Let’s talk about Lifestyleretreats.
Our vision is to pioneer a successful and truly holistic hospitality concept to transform privately owned boutique hotels into idyllic retreats that improve the lives of both guests and employees.
The Lifestyle Retreats hotel management company creates places of complete relaxation with deluxe accommodation and offers a wide selection of healthy lifestyle activities. The happiness, welfare, and developing of their employees is a main priority for the company. Only when all this is given, an efficiently and examplary service is quaranteed.
Here is another little quote I found on www.lifestyleretreats.com, which is very appropriate to myself as well:
We call the lifestyleretreats philosophy. It’s the way we approach everything every day. “life” is all those small things that make up truly unique experiences – each of the employees in our family learns to identify and appreciate those things and pass on their importance to our guests.
Lifestyle Retreats has seven facilities in total. Six of them are in Bali (The Amala and Ize in Seminyak, The Menjangan in West Bali National Park, The Santai in Umalas, The Samata in Sanur, The Bale in Nusa Dua), the other one in Cambodia. We had the pleasure to enjoy the stay in two of the above listed. Let’s have a closer look at the Samata and the Santai.
It was Wednesday, February 7th when we arrived in Sanur. The staff welcomed us warmly and we were astonished by the whole area, which is about 1 ha big. The primary characteristic at the Samata is, comparing to the other properties, the high significance of a healthy lifestyle. It is also well-known for its fully-equipped gym.
In line with the philosophy of Lifestyle Retreats, The Samata provides a place where all guests can improve their lifestyle balance by engaging in fitness, sports, healthy dining and complete relaxation. The small number of suites and pool villas means guests experience highly personalised service from our warm and welcoming staff ‘family’ who will pamper them from the moment they check in.
The Samata is an exclusive and unique luxury retreat in one of the most beautiful parts of Bali.
The view to the typical Balinese rice fields provide the perfect backdrop for yoga, meditation and relaxation, either before or after workouts. The Samata offers Spa suites, Ocean view suites, a one-bedroom villa, a two-bedroom villa, and the Samata Residence.
Friday, February 9th. We reluctantly left the Samata after great two nights towards another member of Lifestyle Retreats: The Santai. This facility is an exclusive retreat, nestled in a quiet neighborhood close to picturesque rice fields and local village temples but also just a short 15-minute drive from the shops, restaurants and buzzing nightlife of Seminyak. The Santai offers something very different from the big hotels and resorts, giving treasured guests a truly peaceful and individual Balinese experience. They feel like this is their very own villa in Bali.
The Santai only offers a small number of two-bedroom villas, and three-bedroom villas. We had the pleasure to enjoy our very last night in Bali at a two-bedroom villa. And I tell you guys, this was by far the greatest stay I’ve ever been to.
One of the overall four two-bedroom pavillons has a 350m2 area, a private pool of 5x10m, Air-conditioned living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen including comprehensive selection of utensils, an outdoor sundeck with day bed, inflatable floats and so on. Of course we stayed the whole day at the villa, created photos and videos, and wanted to enjoy this beauty of a place.
In friendly collaboration with Lifestyle Retreats.
